Gingerbread House Contest Entry

It’s that time of year again! Time to get ready for the Lampasas County Museum’s annual Christmas Tree and Gingerbread contests. This year’s theme is “A Storybook Christmas.” The theme suggests family traditions of favorite stories read, books given and treasured for a lifetime, and special characters that are cherished. Any of these interpretations – or another of your choosing – could be the focus of a tree or gingerbread house.

Gingerbread houses should arrive at the museum between 4 and 6 pm on Thursday, November 30. Judges will select winners in the following categories: children ages 4 – 12; young adults, ages 13 – 17, and adult/family 18 and up.
