DESCRIPTION:It's that time of year again! Time to get ready for the Lampasas County Museum's annual Christmas Tree and Gingerbread contests. This year's theme is "A Storybook Christmas." The theme suggests family traditions of favorite stories read\, books given and treasured for a lifetime\, and special characters that are cherished. Any of these interpretations   or another of your choosing   could be the focus of a tree or gingerbread house.\n\n\n\nGingerbread houses should arrive at the museum between 4 and 6 pm on Thursday\, November 30. Judges will select winners in the following categories: children ages 4   12\; young adults\, ages 13   17\, and adult/family 18 and up.\n\n\n\nFor more information\, call the museum at 512-556-2224 or Susan Detrick at 512-556-0033.
