DESCRIPTION:Let's show our support for our veterans! REGISTER TODAY! And if you cannot join the run\, consider donating via the registration link below.\n\nJoin us for a 5K run or walk on Saturday\, Nov. 6 at 8 a.m. Start at the Lampasas County Courthouse\, located at 409 S. Pecan St. We will be meeting on the north side of the building.\n\nNote: This is NOT an official USATF sanctioned course. It is an honorary event for our veterans. It will not be timed. Walkers start with runners and walk out as far as you'd like. There is a 5K route mapped for those who'd like.\n\nThe event is low cost. Fees are simply to cover the cost to produce the run/walk. But donations are accepted\, and all proceeds will go to the Lampasas VFW Auxiliary Post 8539 to support our local vets.\n\nDuring registration\, you can order a RED shirts that says\, "I Support Lampasas Veterans" for an additional cost of $30. Deadline to order is Oct. 15. Again\, all proceeds will go to the VFW Auxiliary Post 8539 in Lampasas.\n\nEvent details and schedule\n\nDATE: Saturday\, Nov. 6 at 8 a.m. Please arrive by 7:30 a.m. to get your shirt (for those who order one)\, check in\, socialize and thank our vets.\n\nLOCATION: Lampasas County Courthouse\, 409 S. Pecan St.\, Lampasas\, TX\n\nEVENT: 5K Run or Walk\n\nCOURSE: We will run to Miller's Service\, where you can get a nice patriotic photo before finishing the run. The route in 5K but feel free to run/walk your own route.\n\nFOOD & DRINKS: Alamo Coffee has offered to sponsor our event and will be providing coffee. There will be a cooler with water along the route and bananas at the start/finish.
