DESCRIPTION:CLICK HERE FOR SPONSOR FORM\n\n\n\nCLICK HERE TO REGISTER FOR THE RACES \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nToughest 10K in Texas 5K & 1-Mile Fun Run 2023\n\nLampasas County Chamber of Commerce gears up for this year's running event of the season. \n\n \n\n2023 marks The Toughest 10K in Texas' 43rd year. This event is for competitors of all ages and is again part of the Centex Race Series. Runners travel nationwide to attend this hilly race held during the Annual Lampasas Spring Ho Festival because of the challenge the course provides. This race is hosted by The Lampasas County Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Center and all proceeds benefit the Lampasas County community. This years' event will take place on Saturday\, July 8\, 2023. The race begins at 7 a.m. and will start and finish at the Hancock Park Golf Course Pavilion in Lampasas. The race will also feature a 5K and a 1-Mile Fun Run as we encourage people of all ages to come out and participate.\n\nEarly-registration entry fees are $15 (1-Mile Fun Run)\, $25 (5K Run) and $35 (10K Run). The entry fee increases $5 per individual after June 23rd. T-shirts are guaranteed if registered by June 23rd. Race-day registration will take place from 5:30-6:30 a.m. the morning of the race at the Golf Course Park Pavilion. Pre-race packet pick-up will take place at Texas Legato Winery located at 2935 FM 1478 Lampasas TX 76550 on Friday\, July 7th 4p-8p. Race bags will be given to the first 200 runners at packet pick-up and there will be a carb load dinner for anyone wanting to "carb-up" before the race. More information on packet pick-up will be forthcoming and can be found on our website (lampasaschamber.org) as the event gets closer.\n\nAll races will be timed and scored. Medals will be given for the first three places in each age group for the 5k & 10k along with ribbons for the 1-mile. Do not forget to swing by the Photo Booth and grab a photo of you and your friends to commemorate the event.
